Could someone attach a debug log of this occurring, please?

I reproduced the error as follows.

1. Run pidgin with Gmail account. 2. Put the computer to sleep then resume. 3. Do 1 and 2 until pidgin cannot connect upon resuming, but stays disconnected at "waiting for network" or "connecting" state. 4. Put the computer again to sleep. 5. Resume to see pidgin has crashed.

I attached the last part of the debug file, which I believe contains the problem. I have not posted the rest as I am not sure how reliably I can clean the sensitive info.

Correction: 3. Repeat 2 until pidgin cannot connect upon resuming, but stays disconnected at "waiting for network" or "connecting" state.

  • status changed from new to pending

Download http://pidgin.im/~nosnilmot/2.6.1/srvfix/libpurple.dll and put it in the Pidgin install directory.

Can you reproduce this issue after doing that?

No. This seems to have fixed the issue. Thanks.

In the old version, the easiest way to reproduce is to put to sleep as soon as it resumes. I could not crash the one with the fixed libpurple in this way.
