Privacy list not working on Sametime

Description

When I set Pidgin to "Allow only the users on my buddy list" in the Privacy section for Sametime I should not be able to receive messages from those folks not in my buddy list.

However this isn't working, I am being pinged constantly throughout the day by people not in my buddy list.
