Chatroom tooltips should show room name instead of contact alias

For contacts/buddies, the relevant screennames are displayed in the tooltip.

For chatrooms however, the contact alias is displayed in the tooltip. The full room name should be displayed.

For XMPP, a JID like: support@…. For IRC: #pidgin, (as irc.freenode.com/#pidgin would be redundant)

I second. Also, with the advent of the infopane, the name of the chatroom in the infopane should be the full room name, while the tab should stay as the alias. This would increase consistency with IMs. See attached screenshot.

+1 I think this is a good idea, since the fullnames are not suitable for a tab title. Also, it will make more useful the infopane in chatrooms.

Currently the behavior is the opposite... the fullname is shown in the tab, and the alias is only shown in the infopane.

Ah!! sorry, I was wrong. Currently the alias is displayed in the tab, nice . However, in the infopanel the alias is also displayed instead of the fullname.

Couldn't be more useful to display the fullname in the infopane the same way as in contacts infopane?

That way it would be more informative and will avoid redundacy
