Large numbers of animated smileys in a gtkimhtml may cause Pidgin to be unusable

Description

This is less an issue now that our default smiley theme doesn't animate, but I'll still classify it "major" as long as we support MSN "custom" smileys by default.

As a workaround i used to edit animated icons and lower frame rate.

Fixed in mtn. I only animate the most recent 20 smileys.

Even 20 high-framerate animated GIFs produce an unresponsive WM, to the point where I need to switch to a tty and kill pidgin by hand. I can provide you with a GIF if you need.
