Cannot set Away status in Windows when system tray icon is not shown

Under Windows, if one sets the system tray icon to "Never" show or "Show on Unread Messages", then there is no longer any UI to access the "Away" message functions - they are effectively unreachable.

The Away menu needs to be available from the main menus of the Buddy List.

Are you missing the large status selector at the bottom of the buddy list? Or did you just not realize what it was? If you don't have the status selector there then you loaded some plugin that turned if off, you should find that plugin and fix that.

Ha! If it'd been a snake, it'd've bit me.

Ok, how about we change this to "Add FAQ entry on how to change status" - I did try to figure out how to do this for a long time. I just never connected funny drop-down on the bottom of the buddy list with what I wanted. I guess it wasn't what I expected. :-/

And I must say, a menu is *much* easier to use with a keyboard!
