It would be nice to have a couple of new keyboard shortcuts...

» One that opens a text box to type a status message.

» One that sets a users current status For example:

Available (Ctrl-A) Away (Ctrl-W) Busy (Ctrl-B) Etc...

» Some people prefer keyboard shortcuts.

» Others may use scripting tools like AutoHotKey?. The keyboard shortcuts can be scripted for logging out and setting an I.M. status all in one shot. I've done this with other I.M. tools; it's pretty handy!!

You already can accomplish that with the keyboard: from the main window, hit <tab> to change the focus to the status combo-box bellow.

That said, a shortcut could also be handy.

What I'd like is a global shortcut to show/hide the main window to the system tray icon.

All that allows you to do is bring up the list of statuses. You can't select any other than the currently selected status with the keyboard, mouse interaction is required at that point. So no, you can't accomplish it completely with the keyboard, which is what this enhancement is requesting.
