ICQ buddies blocked upon signing in

Each time I sign in, the Privacy settings for ICQ are configured to "Allow only the users below", and because the list is empty, everyone is blocked and I have to manually configure it to "Block only the users below".

I have also seen that happen. Steps to reproduce:

  1. Sign in with any other (libpurple?) client.
  2. Change your status to be “invisible”.
  3. Sign off.
  4. Sign in with Pidgin. — Your status will be invisible (i.e. “Allow only the users below”), whatever status you had chosen to be your default at startup, e.g. available.
