Problem with Evolution Integration Plugin + Evolution-Connector

I have an email account on an Exchange server and at least in the 2.0 Beta6 + Evolution 2.8 series, there is a serious issue.

If you usethe Evolution Integration and have an Exchange Email Account, Gaim will repeatedly crash as well as cause Evolution to disconnect from the Exchange server. I just turned this plugin off and my problem went away.

You are correct. But here's what happens:

1. Turn on Evolution-Integration-Plugin when using an exchange account on Evolution. 2. Gaim crashes. 3. 10 seconds or so later, Evolution loses connection to the Exchange backend.

I don't know but Gaim doesn't give me the option for a backtrace (at least on Fedora 6) so I don't know. But I know if I turn off the plugin, the problem goes away completely , so it's probably something that the 2 teams should work together on.

I would think the 2 teams are already working together since there is the existence of this type of Evolution Integration plugin in the first place.

Run Gaim under GDB:

I don't know anything about evolution, I've never even seen it running anywhere. So I'm not at all sure where to even begin looking at this, plus I don't think we have a backtrace from pidgin here anyway.
