Description

This was still open on the old tracker:

Submitted By: Aurora Skarra-Gallagher (aurorasg) Assigned to: Tim Ringenbach (marv_sf) Summary: Support Windows Live (MSN) and Yahoo integration

Initial Comment: It would be nice if GAIM supported the Windows Live - Yahoo Messenger integration. If I use the official Windows Yahoo Messenger, I can IM MSN/hotmail contacts directly from Yahoo. When I log back into GAIM on Linux, I am unable to see or IM those contacts from my Yahoo account.

As we are closing this tracker, please submit any feature request that is still valid to http://developer.pidgin.im. Thanks.

Ma Yuan was working on it: http://code.google.com/soc/gaim/appinfo.html?csaid=9C79EE2248D554A9 http://2006.planet-soc.com/blog/70 and committed to the soc-2006-msnp13 branch of gaim's svn but I do not know what state is it in or if it is going to be merged back to trunk.

I am going to mark things that are known to work or I suspect works as duplicate of #93. Please file separate bugs if this turns out to not work as expected on the im.pidgin.cpw.khc.msnp14 branch.
