Website is painfully slow, especially when viewing tickets

I'm not sure if it's just me who experiences this but whenever I try and view the Pidgin roadmap on Pidgin's trac installation, it crawls along. Looking at individual tickets or querying the database is painful. This might be a software or server problem. It has been noticeable for months now. It makes reporting bugs a pain.

It has been going on for just over a month (not "months"). Something is causing trac to peg the CPU after some undetermined event. We're aware of it and when we find out what is causing it, it will be fixed.
