Buddy list not in sync after moving buddies in ICQ6

Reported by: birdblah Owned by: MarkDoliner
Milestone: Component: ICQ
Version: 2.5.8 Keywords: move groups duplicate buddies

Description (last modified by birdblah) (diff)

I fired up ICQ6, created a new group, moved all my buddies to this group and deleted the empty groups. Closed ICQ6, reopened - everything like expected.

I opened Pidgin, the new group was there with all my buddies, but the old groups stayed with duplicates of the buddies.

I had to remove the account and readd it to make the duplicates disappear. The empty groups stayed, though. After deleting them, the buddy list corresponds the one I see in ICQ6 again.

Update: Still an issue with Pidgin 2.5.8 and ICQ 6.5.
