Hello. Please check this bug. If i got message from anybody who in my contact-list but i'm not in his, i got symbols like this :

lkx7f;x7f; qvsjn lkx7f;x7f; ...qvsjn qvsjn lkx7f;x7f;

yes i have this problem too (only with qip contacts), but i am in his list and they are in my. Please fix it.

Does this still happen in Pidgin 2.5.8? Can you please verify?

I can't reproduce this with the latest versions of both QIP 2005 (build 8095) and QIP 2010 (build 3397). All Cyrillic messages from QIP to Pidgin 2.7.1 (and vice versa) go through just fine, even when the Pidgin contact is not authorized by QIP. If you have more specific instructions to reproduce this, you're welcome to add a comment. Meanwhile, I think this bug can be closed.
