MSN Switchboard Error - Undelivered Messages

Description (last modified by datallah) (diff)

There have been a couple related tickets submitted regarding this issue in the past. However, this is something that has gotten even worse in the latest version of the application. This has been confirmed in 2.5.0 under Windows and Linux.

Most of the time that a conversation is started in MSN, this error comes up, preventing the message from reaching its destination.

The workaround of using the http method under the account configuration does not solve the problem either.

Some of the other open tickets are: #3330, #3696, #5186.

I'm attaching a portion of the debug log I captured, which shows a message being sent, and the resulting error.

Stu's idea, I sort of did it the other way. I don't know if it will help but I am going to References #1862, #3696, #6776

Some more information about this. It happens in the following scenarios: - Linux <--> Windows: With/Without OTR - Windows <--> Windows: With/Without OTR

Have not tested Linux <--> Linux yet.

Thanks, khc, for taking a look at this. Let me know if I can help.
