Unable to get sametime contacts

I'm trying to figure out why I can't see all of my sametime contacts?

I've had this problem on several versons of Windows XP and Vista for some time now.

I tried searching on the site but it desn't look like anyone else has had this issue. I'm attaching a screenshot which shows pidgin configured only for sametime.

Normally, I should have about 75 contacts in there, but pidgin only shows 1 (this happens every time)

I do show up as available to other people and they can send me messages - I just don't see them.

Note: I have a debug log but am concerned about attaching it because it lists internal company contacts and customers. I'll be happy to either scrub it or send to someone privately.

I have just noticed this problem in the Linux version of Pidgin.. Similar to ticket #58 which was fixed in Windows long ago. I had not tried Pidgin in Linux on Sametime in that time, but I am hoping to migrate to a Linux-based workstation at work and I am finding that similar to that bug, I only see contacts when they log in after I have logged in.. Anyone on the system already is not shown as being online.

Forgot to mention my versions.. Fedora 9, up to date..

I have the same issue. I use pidgin both on windows and Linux. Whenever I have a new installation of pidgin all the contacts seem to get erased.

On my windows box I can see all the contacts but not on my newer Linux installation.
