Pidgin cannot connect to Yahoo Account in Windows 7

Yes yes, I know Win 7 is still in Beta\RC1 stage but thing is, this worked before. Its only recently that I have decided to get back to Win7RC1 and now pidgin will not connect to my yahoo account, it says the connection was refused.

What do i do? I tried doing things such as coping over pidgin from WinXP (which worked) but that did nothing.
