Description

Hello

I tested pidgin for some local proxies like ultrasurf and freedom. it works. but as I am a university student and our internet connection is using a proxy with username/password authentication, I could not login to yahoo or gtalk account (others too) using our university's proxy with authentication.

PLEASE fix pidgin's proxy problem :(((((((((((((

thank you very much

The problem with your yahoo account (which is all that is in that log) is specific to your proxy not allowing CONNECT connections on port 5050.

Pidgin is using that proxy. The problem is that the proxy isn't permitting what Pidgin is trying to do.
