ICQ online buddies appear offline

Description

Hi!

I am using Pidgin 2.6.6 in Ubuntu 10.04. For several weeks I have a problem with my ICQ account. None of my ICQ buddies is online. I checked if somebody is online with ICQ2Go and in fact some people where there. None of them appears in Pidgin. Changing my status does not have any effect.

I attached a backtrace and my configuration of the ICQ account.

Thanks for your help!

Daniel

I did the backtrace again. This time I started Pidgin in gdb and waited till ICQ connected. My ICQ buddies did not appear. Then I quit.

The text file is attached.

You were asked for a debug log, not a backtrace. Get a debug log.

I wanted to use Empathy until this problem is somehow solved. So I configured everything, but there seems to be the bug like in Pidgin. I do not know if that helps you, you wanted to report it.

I believe Empathy uses our (libpurple's) code for AIM and ICQ currently.
