It isn't a date issue, the clock on my computer is properly set and expiration date of certificate is Thu Jun 23 03:06:48 2011.
OS: Windows XP SP3. Pidgin version: Pidgin 2.7.5 (libpurple 2.7.5)
The error message I get:
The certificate for omega.contacts.msn.com could not be validated. The certificate chain presented is invalid.

This occurs when trying to connect with any of the MSN messenger accounts I use, other networks work fine.
Debug log and certificates attached.
