#13108 closed patch (fixed)

Groupwise 'Get Info' opens two windows

Reported by: gburt Owned by: seanegan
Milestone: 2.7.10 Component: Groupwise
Version: 2.7.8 Keywords:
Cc: sbrabec

If you right click on a GroupWise? buddy in the buddy list and choose 'Get Info', two windows are opened, one with "Information: Retrieving..." displayed, and second one opened right above it with the full info.

The bug is caused by the libpurple novell plugin calling purple_notify_userinfo with a different user-id/name than passed to the get_info method.

I created and tested this patch against Pidgin 2.5.1, and verified that it applies (w/ offsets) against 2.7.8.

Ah sorry, that patch was taken from within libpurple/protocols/novell, hope that's OK.

Note that this defect is probably related with ticket 3820 and maybe fixes that issue.

This patch looks good to me. How should you be credited for this patch (name and e-mail address)?

ChangeLog and credit for Gabriel's patch. Novell owns the copyright, but I added his name for safety. Refs #13108.
