Reported by: Valhallen Owned by: QuLogic
Milestone: Component: MSN

Cc: balihb

Description

Whenever someone tries to send something over MSN protocol, pidgin does not show the transfer being requested to the receiver. This wasn't an issue in 2.7.7

Problem seems to be symmetrical: pidgin doesn't see transfers offered by other client and other client doesn't see any transfert offer if i send a file.

Tested between 1 pidgin and 1 MSN messenger.

it seems to work between two pidgin clients but not when someone tries sending from MSN/Windows/Live Messenger

what exactly to you want me to debug? there's a lot of personal information traffic going on in the debug window.

zifox and balihb seem to have some ideas. developers, what gives?

I've also been having this issue for a while, so I've attached a debug log.
