Description

Alright, just for a little background on this bug. If I remember correctly, it did not exist in a previous version of Pidgin/Gaim?, however, it has been around for a long time now ... since at LEAST November of 2007 (I remember because that is when I switched to Linux (Fedora 8) from Windows XP, and the issue existed on both systems).

Anyway ... Pidgin starts minimized to tray and when I bring the window to the forefront for the first time, the top-most group in the buddy list is selected/highlighted, with such as a blue bar going across the full width of the buddy list window behind the group name, but (here's the glitch) there is a selection box (dotted on Windows XP; blue outlined on Fedora Linux) that only extends part of the width of the buddy list window. See attached screen captures to see what I mean. It's just a minor graphical glitch, but it makes it look unpolished.

It doesn't go away until you click something in the buddy list window.
