#14406 new plugin request

Distinction between channels in IRC networks in vertical list view.

Description (last modified by deryni)

In my humble opinion, there should be some sort of physical distinction between channels of different IRC networks in the vertical list view. I know that the user can set different windows for different IRC networks in the preferences, but usually having more than one window is an inconvenience.

Here is basically a mockup of what I'm looking for:

I support this.

I like the idea, maybe we can have an option to toggle it on and off and choose background colours for the tabs of different irc server channels as well as a way to short channels by server or manually pin them in order.

Vouch for this. I would like to see this feature in pidgin as well.

That would also be really cool. I'm honestly surprised this functionality hasn't already been included.
