#14925 new enhancement

XMPP pre formatting tag

Reported by: phlip Owned by: deryni
Milestone: Component: XMPP
Version: 2.10.1 Keywords: XMPP html formatting pre
Cc: nomeata

One of the XMPP services I use at work sends back a table of data in a
tag... Pidgin ignores the tag, and displays everything as one big unformatted mess.

It'd be nice if
could be added to the selection of tags that Pidgin will recognise.

This is a sample of what I'm getting back from the service, for a test-case

<message to='[me]' type='chat' from='[service]'>

[words words words]

 [words words words]

I have the same issue. I worked around it by making the other side send its messae wrapped in .., but
...
would be nicer.
