Description (last modified by salinasv)

Hi! On my Debian Jessie machine, Pidgin segfaults when I deactivate the network connection (network-manager). When starting Pidgin with a deactivated connection, the program waits with its start, until the connection is established. No error message here. Here the BT of the crash:

Replying to salinasv:

I am trying to reproduce your bug,but it seems like it is working fine to me, I am using the nmcli commands in order to connect-disconnect my network while pidgin is opened, and it doesn't get segfault. Are you using some NetworkManager applet or something like? Even if you could give me some more related information of your environment (like window manager, desktop environment, networkmanager version...)

I use Debian Jessie amd64, XFCE with XFWM, networkmanager-gnome, and networkmanager in version 0.9.10.0. Pidgin is version 2.10.11. All of these are the default Jessie packages. Further I use the gpg plugin from Alex Segler.

  • Status changed from new to pending

This is a very old crash? Can it still be reproduced?
