Reported by: polarka Owned by: elb
Milestone: Component: IRC
Version: 2.10.11 Keywords: twitch irc chat unknown message who popup

I use pidgin for connecting to twitch.tv's chat rooms. Every time pidgin starts up and joins these chat rooms I receive "Unknown message" pop-ups:

Have you tried using the "No IRC /who" plugin listed on the ThirdPartyPlugins page?

On that plugin's page there's only a c file, which I suppose I should compile to a dll in order to add it to pidgin. But unfortunately I don't know how to do that.

It's not nice to close the issue in my opinion after only 2 weeks of the response, when I had waited a year for one.

Thank you EionRobb?, it works. I'm not familiar with github, therefore I missed the releases page.
