AIM won't log in

I'm using Windows 7 Pro x64 on a PowerSpec? B332 desktop. I have never had issues using AIM with Pidgin before, but today when I attempted to log in to my AIM account, the log in failed & the account was disabled. This happened immediately after booting Windows. To make sure the issue wasn't on AOL's end, I tried logging in to the same account using AIM itself and was successful.

Anybody able to help? Thanks

I must apologize. I reproduced the error many times, but upon the most recent attempt I clicked "modify account" and then saved without changing anything. After doing that, login worked just fine. I'm changing the ticket to fixed & closed.
