In a chat window (irc, if that matters), I paste a url (this one: https://git.archlinux32.org/archlinux32/builder/src/branch/master/bin/build-packages#L631), move the cursor to the front, hit <space>, move to the front again, start entering some text (""a"", if that matters) and pidgin freezes when moving the mouse around, the cursor does not get displayed when over the chat window, but it gets displayed when being over the buddy list (but that one won't react to clicks either).
If I run pidgin from a terminal, no errors are emitted. If I run with -d, the attached pidgin.log is produced (until I kill pidgin with SIGKILL -- SIGTERM will not terminate it). Similarily, no useful backtrace can be generated - I attached one anyways ..."	defect	new		unclassified	2.13.0
