i think the name of the status und the status-message have the same content. Maybe a check if they are similar would be useful to have it only once printed out

Status: newassigned

What do you mean by "the name of the status"? Do you know what ICQ client that person is using? I don't see how this is possible, except if his available message actually has that message printed twice. One interesting thing is that the newlines after the smiley exist in the top version but not in the bottom version.

That person is probably using ICQ 6, since ICQ 5.1 and other clients (apart from Pidgin) cannot set any status message for »available« status.

forget that with "name of the status" ;)

Teah, his appears with ICQ 6...

still in 2.4.1

Version: 2.4.02.4.1

For long messages the first message is stripped down to 251 characters(including spaces).

So the Status is:

Away: strippedmessage: fullmessage

The »status note title« (I think it was called that way) does not exist anymore in official ICQ 6 clients, so we do not need to fetch it. Official ICQ clients >= 6 set the status message the AIM way, with the only difference that all status types are handled the same way (i.e. »available«). The patch submitted in #703 also makes this issue disappear.
