I think gyachi only works for linux and not windows xp sp3 which is what i have. I think all third party yahoo clients should have all the features of yahoo at least and extra features should be a given instead of a mixed bag having to choose between yahoo for practical reasons and third party clients for goodies

Please don't comment on this ticket unless you're making a comment that's actually directly related to the development of voice and video for our yahoo implementation. Suggestions to use other clients' code aren't particularly helpful either.

I don't usually comment, but this is exceptionally silly. Sorry, other clients' code aren't particularly helpful? Remind me again the concept of opensource and how Pidgin got started? Have a look at the MSN voice ticket and tell me farsight2 is "not particularly helpful." I'll tell you what's not helpful is silly comments like yours and mine critiquing it. However, I am willing to take that heat just so I can bring to your attention the obtuseness of your comment. That is all.

The point of the comment was that suggesting looking at other clients' code isn't helpful because we already know about them.
