+> [wiki:joekepley]: I think part of the clutter is that we mocked up the home page with the two transient announcement areas populated. The site would usually look more like [http://blendinteractive.com/demo/pidgin/pidgin_home_noannounce.jpg this]. Some simple options could also be to [http://blendinteractive.com/demo/pidgin/pidgin_home_noannounce_right.jpg flip the download box] or to [http://blendinteractive.com/demo/pidgin/pidgin_home_nobird.jpg remove the header logo], just for the home page.
